To use the Cadillac XT4's Automatic Park Assist function simply press the Park Assist button and select if you would like to park perpendicular or parallel. You also need to tell the XT4 which side of the vehicle you would like it to search on.

The XT4 (or any Cadillac equipped with Park Assist) will immediately start scanning for parking spots that meet your criteria. Once the perfect spot is found the vehicle will alert you to apply the brake and stop.

Follow the on-screen directions. Place the XT4 in reverse and lightly press the accelerator to start navigating into your parking spot. This can make you a little nervous at first. With a little practice and a few "trust-building" parks, you realize how incredibly accurate the system is!
