'Executive Functions' is a term that describes our cognitive operational mode, the management system of our brain.

It's a set of skills that we have that helps us assess situations, identify resources, create an action plan, and execute.
We all need executive functions because we are the executives of our lives, and we need to function, especially if we're dealing with a health or medical crisis.
Whether we are patients or caregivers, we need an action plan because no one teaches us how to be a patient, and no one teaches us how to be a caregiver.

We need a manual.

The executive functions provide that. In this video, I address different executive functions and how you can tweak them to work well for you.
