Encounter with Sungei Perak at Green Chalet, Kg Temelong

I encountered the Perak River, flowing through the wide expense of Chendoroh Lake at Suka Suka Lake Side Retreat, the day before, but this encounter is much more intimate and arouses deeper thoughts and feelings.

At this point, The river flows seemingly unperturbed by the cascade of hydroelectric dams upstream and the Chendoroh downstream, not to mention many other small hydroelectric plants that have sprouted at many other points. I hear there is one coming up nearby around the Temelong island,

As I watch the river flowing incessantly especially in the early morning light with sun’s reflection shimmering on its surface, the often used headline “Sungei Perak- the River of Life” comes vividly to mind.

The narrative is based largely on my own thoughts triggerred by what I researched there and then on the internet. I confirmed many of these at the time of video production, using ChatGPT and the Bing Co-pilot, and some parts were rewritten using text that were suggested.
