Blake Griffin All 176 Dunks Full Highlights (2013-14 Season Dunkilation)

Описание к видео Blake Griffin All 176 Dunks Full Highlights (2013-14 Season Dunkilation)

In 2011, the official NBA YouTube channel uploaded a video showing all of Blake Griffin's dunks from his rookie season. A small blaze of inspiration then flared in DownToBuck's brain, and he vowed to produce similar videos when he had the means. Now Blake Griffin has lost most of his above-the-basket game, but the legacy of the dunkilation lives on.

“If I ever upload Blake Griffin highlights I encourage you to unsubscribe.”

-DownToBuck, 4-20-2014

They say the fall of the Roman Empire was precipitated by the death of Theodosius I and the subsequent sacking of Rome by the Visigoths. These events, combined with the ever-growing malaise of the population, various plagues, the ceding of defense to mercenary barbarians, political infighting, and the general lack of exposed tee-tays were enough to tear apart the once mighty kingdom into fractured parts (don’t even bring up the Eastern Roman Empire which totally sucked and wasn’t as good).

This is kind of like that, except instead of barbarian tribes ravaging my capital city, I made Blake Griffin highlights.

The completion of the upload of and subsequent viewing of this video will begin a process irreversible. My subscriber count, that holy number beloved yet hated by all YouTube uploaders, will dwindle away. Slow will be the drop at first, but as my loyal viewers realize what I have done they will leave in greater and greater numbers. Who can blame them?

Soon, I will be left with a mere 1 subscriber, my first ever, gameboy169. Then, becoming aware of the sacred pact that has been broken, he too will unsubscribe, and my videos will reach an audience of zero, just as in the beginning. I sit in my darkened chamber and weep.

Totally worth it though. These are some sick dunks. People love to talk about how Blake Griffin has improved and diversified his game, growing from the one-dimensional dunker he used to be. But the fact remains that he can still absolutely throw down any time he wants. He just finds post moves and fadeaway jumpers a little more fun right now.
