Prehistoric Man, during the Stone Age, had an impressive array of weapons, and human evolution is also the story of an ancient Arms Race, according to social anthropology. Long before throwing baseballs and footballs, Early humans were able to hunt prey by throwing rocks with impressive skill. Long before the invention of the spear, atlatl, bow and arrow, or javelin, our prehistoric ancestors were throwing rocks to take down prey on the African plains.
