In this video I experimented with different types of taba gel and colouring techniques to create some fun, new squishies. I realised that taba-making contains lots of tiny details that seem trivial but require more planning and preparation than you think. An example would be pouring the same colour at different times and preparing your silicone so it doesn't cure prematurely. Choosing the right texture or pigment can also make or break a project. For instance, cream silicone doesn't work for tiny details such as the cat paw toe beans because it's too thick and won't flow into small areas. Certain pigments can also look very different outside the bottle such as the brown and black I tried here.
