At the intersection of Yale St. and University Dr. in College Park, Orlando, FL, many drivers disregard the 4-way stop. Some barely stop after crossing the stop bar, while others completely ignore it without even applying their brakes. This intersection is particularly busy due to the high foot traffic from nearby residents walking to Lake Ivanhoe or local amenities like Publix and Starbucks. Most southbound vehicle traffic on University diverts from Princeton to bypass turning on Edgewater, increasing the mix of cars and pedestrians. Based on my own experience while walking my dog, this combination is hazardous. One day, a driver engrossed in his phone ran the stop sign at University while turning onto Yale St. Fortunately, he noticed us in time to stop abruptly, preventing a potential accident.

This is a dangerous intersection and someone will be hurt due to the lack of crosswalks and 4-way stop enforcement.
