IS SPOT REDUCTION RUINING YOUR VEGAN BODYBUILDING GAINS? - The answer to Spot Recution

Spot Reduction is the idea that by doing lots of sit-ups, you can burn fat from your abs or by doing loads of glute work you will burn fat from your bum. The truth to spot reduction is this: Your body burns fat universally so when you are doing sit-ups, you’re burning just as much fat from your legs as you are your abs. Spot Reduction is a Myth and should be avoided.

When you want to shed fat and bring out the abs to achieve a vegan 6 pack, the only thing that should change is the quantities of your vegan nutrition. Whether going on Vegan Bulk, a Vegan Cut, or whatever stage you are at in your vegan body transformation, your training should stay the same. Low reps, 4-8 per set, and compound exercises. The only thing that changes is your vegan bodybuilding diet. You should drop the calories in your vegan bodybuilding meal plan so that you are in a calorie deficit. Continue training for maximum muscle hypertrophy, and the fat will drop off. Training in high rep ranges for spot reduction, typically done with exercises like sit ups, is not only bad for your back, but trains slow twitch muscle fibres and stimulates minimum muscular hypertrophy. When you are cutting, you want the absolute maximum.
