Summer | Kipon Baveyes LPL 0.7x Mamiya Sekor-C Lens Adapter Arri LF Test 4k

Kipon has opened the door to even more lens options for full-frame digital cinema cameras and we couldn't be more excited. Kipon was nice enough to let us test their new LPL to Mamiya lens adapter. This high quality adapter acts as a "speedbooster" by increasing the field of view and gaining one stop of light. I took a quick hike around a local state park and put the adapter to the test with a set of Mamiya Sekor primes on the Alexa Mini LF. Filmed with the full-frame Alexa Mini LF in sensor mode 4.5k LF OG ARRIRAW and exported ULTRA HD ProRes files out of Resolve. Edit in FCPX. I kept the original aspect ratio straight out of the camera so you can see all the subtleties of the lenses edge to edge. Be sure to watch in 4k!
