The Order 1886 Re-Review | Worth It Now?

The Order 1886 is one of the PS4’s biggest failures. It was supposed to have been the start of a big new franchise but instead, it has ended up a forgotten entry in Sony’s otherwise stellar exclusive catalogue.

Is it really that bad though? 8 years after its launch, and many discounts later, could it finally be worth it now? It has plenty of issues but at the cost of a cup of coffee, are they really that big and could it have possibly been a victim of poor timing?

To answer these questions, this review will cover the game’s development, launch, story, gameplay and incredible presentation. I'll talk about what your options for playing it in 2023 are and if there's any benefit in playing it on the PS5. I’ll also talk about why it failed and those persistent sequel rumours.
