FIX Whirlpool Refrigerator Water Leaking on Top Shelf. Remove lower back panel and remove rubber piece at the bottom of the drain tube that is above the white tray. Mine had gunk in it. On Reddit there is a post saying this duckbill grommet is there to prevent moist air from going up the tube to the freezer which could cause icing of the coil. Also, I was able to partially clean the condenser coil from the front after removing the grill below the door using a coil cleaning brush and a vacuum cleaner with the long snout piece. Cleaning has greatly reduced the running time.
