While we sleep we create a dream world that seems very real to us. Paramahansa Yogananda taught that this universe is similarly God’s cosmic dream, one that creates in us a seeming reality of being apart from the Divine. So how can we awaken from this cosmic dream and know our true soul-nature?

In this video, Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Saralananda conveys wisdom from Yogananda on how yoga meditation, devotion, and right activity can gradually stir us from the limitations of this cosmic dream — so we can experience our eternal connection with the Divine and live filled with love and joy, even when facing challenges.

This talk, which includes a period of meditation, was given at the SRF temple in Hollywood, California, in June 2024.
