Majestic Tutorial: How to Use The Webmaster Tool

Verifying your site simply means that you are proving to us that you own a website. Doing so, you can then begin to analyse this site, or other sites without being charged for analysis of units – a step which is essential for free account holders as this is something which is subtracted from your subscription.
Once you have signed in on the homepage you will be able to find the option to open Webmaster Tools. Type in the website that you wish to verify into the box provided, and click “Verify.” You now have 3 options in order to verify your site. Meta tag, text file (FTP) or Google Webmaster Tools, and can choose whichever works best for you.
Once we can verify your domain successfully using one of these options, you will be able to see a list of verified domains on the first page for the tool. You can un-verify these at any time by selecting the domain and clicking Remove Selected Items at the bottom of the table.
