Episode 18 Hill Forest Garden-Mosumbu: Tarap fritters and roasted seeds

Описание к видео Episode 18 Hill Forest Garden-Mosumbu: Tarap fritters and roasted seeds

Tarap (Artocarpus odoratissimus) fruit is native to Borneo islands and can be considered as an exotic fruit.
At the moment it has limited cultivation distribution.
In Borneo islands the seeds sprouted easily and considered as wild plant species.
When the Tarap fruit ripened it has a very fragrant smell not as pungently strong like durian fruit.
Like its relatives the cempedak (Artocarpus integer) fruit, Tarap (Artocarpus odoratissimus) has a very fragrant smell when riped and seeds are edible to eat when roasted or boiled.
Seeds taste like nuts.
Like the cempedak flesh, tarap flesh can also be cooked like banana/cempedak fritters.
