There is a reason the Rough Runners and Ballistic Trainers were named the Official Footwear of CrossFit in 2024.

I took part in The Mark Forester Foundation's JAG 28 Memorial Birthday Walk/Ruck two days ago. We covered 28 miles in 11 hours thru pouring rain, mist, lightning, and a little bit of sunshine. I never changed socks nor even took off my shoes. (https://markaforester.com/jag28walk2024/)
