How To Drip Lessons After Optin Using A Workflow

I discovered a great solution for those wanting to drip out course content after someone opts in. While ClickFunnels doesn't let you drip individual lessons (they can only be published or in draft), there's a much better approach using workflows.

When I investigated this for Rachel's question, I found that although you can technically set days for module dripping, it's unclear when that countdown actually starts. Instead, I created a workflow triggered by the initial opt-in that systematically grants access to each module on a schedule you control.

Here's how I built it: First, I set up a workflow with an "optin" trigger connected to the specific funnel. Then I added an "enroll customer in course" node that immediately gives access to module one. Next comes a one-day delay node, followed by enrollment in module two, another delay, and so on until all modules are delivered.

You can even create urgency by adding "unenroll" nodes to remove access to previous modules as new ones become available. Just be careful to unenroll from the module only, not the entire course - ClickFunnels handles this distinction automatically.

The workflow should end with a "pause" node so participants don't fall out of your system. This also allows you to manually add more modules later. To keep students engaged, I added email notifications after each enrollment step to alert them when new content becomes available.

This workflow approach gives you complete control over your drip sequence while keeping students informed and engaged throughout the mini-course experience.
