Dear Viewers, I am grateful to the people of Mathura, for allowing me the opportunity to test, evaluate, and examine them during Project Muskaan, under the auspices of the Anjana Foundation Public Charitable Trust, Mumbai. This overwhelming participation by the residents of Sherni village has brought about increased health awareness and proactiveness in rural India, regardless of age or gender. During Project Muskaan, we had specifically targeted women as we found them to be more vulnerable and under-evaluated to Anemia in our recent research, probably because of multiple socioeconomic and cultural factors.
Our goal is to bring health, happiness, and a smile (MUSKAAN) to the faces of these women, who may not be aware of the consequences of Anemia, a widely prevalent condition in India that is easily manageable yet often overlooked.
To reach this point, it required a lot of time, effort, and support of the entire team on the field, the locals, Volunteers, Donors, Labs, and our esteemed Supporters, who helped us at every step. From creating awareness to collecting samples, logistics, lab tests, evaluation of results, procurement of medications, to distribution of medications. This is just the beginning of a significant change, and it would not have been possible without the support of all of you.
Let's work together towards a healthy and ANEMIA-FREE INDIA. Together we can make this happen. If we can eradicate POLIO, we can eradicate ANEMIA as well.
