Oshana Police Commander Commissioner Naftal Sackaria has launched Operation Ndjadila at Oshakati in the Oshana Region.

The operation is named after Deputy Commissioner Fredrik Ndjadila, who has been serving as the region's Head of the Crime Investigations Division (CID) in Oshana since February 2024.

Ndjadila is now transferred and appointed as the new Head of the Crime Investigations Division in the Khomas Region, effective 1 February this year.

Commissioner Sakaria said the operation is meant to honour and celebrate the outstanding work Deputy Commissioner Ndjadila carried out during his tenure at Oshana, particularly in the areas of crime prevention, investigation, and the arrest of suspects.

He noted that Ndjadila’s strong leadership in investigations led to the successful resolution of many complex criminal cases in the region.

Sakaria further highlighted that Ndjadila’s interpersonal skills enabled him to build strong working relationships with strategic partners, mostly the prosecution and the courts.

Sakaria believes that naming an operation after Ndjadila is the most fitting way to recognise Ndjadila's contribution and dedication to policing in the Oshana region, and it serves as the best way to send him off.

Operation Ndjadila will commence tomorrow and is expected to run for a period of two weeks, although it may be extended depending on the outcomes achieved.
