This tutorial will stop Firefox versions 4.0-7.01 (latest) and possibly later version from freezing up when you play a video or are listening to music or anything else.
Background Knowladge: Plugin-container likes to use a large amount of RAM and system resources. Doing this will solve 1. Firefox from freezing when playing videos, music, etc..

1. Open Mozilla Firefox

2. Go to the address bar and type in about:config

3. Click "Go Anyways" on the "might void warrenty"

4. Type in the filter text field the following:

dom.ipc

5. Right click dom.ipc.plugins.enabled and select Toggle and see that the value changes to False.

6. If you do not see any changes you can do the following to see if any of these solutions makes firefox faster:

1. Clean history, cookies, etc.. build up of this is a big concern
How to do this:

1.Open Firefox
2.Click Tools
3. Clear recent browsing history
