The Sea. Endless miles of blue. You stand at its edge and wonder about what’s on the other side, and the sheer volume of everything in between. Every wave brings in a message, big or small, some write a letter, while others say a word, each one as comforting as the one before it. The sea, it growls in rain and it sparkles in the sun. That’s precisely what we witnessed.
Me, my brother and my closest, like-minded friends decided to visit the quieter, southern side of Goa with one objective, peace, and by God, peace we found plenty. Quiet, tranquil, laid back, empty, these are the words I’d use if I had to describe the place in few. South Goa is a lot of things, and anyone who plans to go abroad to witness ‘real, clean’ beauty, should try here first, your perspective on how beautiful the beaches in our country can be will change. Goa Tourism has done an amazing job of keeping it exactly how it needs to be.
This video wasn’t planned, I had no intention of making it, but carried some of my equipment anyway because that’s what artists do. That was until we saw the place. That peace, the warmth of the sun, the cold of the splashing waves, that sudden rush in the head that we’ve chanced upon something way more beautiful than we’d imagined, I had no idea how to capture it, but I wanted to convey what I felt to the world. And that’s exactly what this video is all about. Add to it the beautiful words written and recited by my father, I feel this conveys what it needs to.
I have always been a mountain guy, until I started experiencing the sea in its truest form. Blue, clean, sparkling.
The Sparkling Sea.
