LAKE TAHOE || Emerald Bay, Eagle Falls, and Echo Lakes || Day 2

It's our second day in Lake Tahoe. In this video we visit popular sights in South Lake Tahoe. We start our morning with a scenic visit to Emerald Bay, a very busy spot during season. After taking in the views at Emerald Bay we climb to Eagle Falls for a cool down. This hike was very straight forward and is amenable for all skill levels (my 3 year old did it with ease). Later in the afternoon, we visit the gateway to the Desolation Wildness, hiking a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail along Lower and Upper Echo Lakes. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would highly recommend a visit here if you're in the South Lake Tahoe area. The two lakes themselves are stunningly beautiful. As a bonus, the portion of the Pacific Crest Trail that runs along the two lakes is relatively flat and is only a 5 mile round trip hike; perfect for an early morning or afternoon hike.
