German Lesson (95) - The Verb "to see" - gucken ∙ schauen ∙ sehen ∙ ansehen ∙ aussehen - A2/B1

Описание к видео German Lesson (95) - The Verb "to see" - gucken ∙ schauen ∙ sehen ∙ ansehen ∙ aussehen - A2/B1

I said in the video that "gucken" is not used with a direct object, however there are exceptions for example:

• When watching a movie or watching TV

Ich gucke einen Film.
Ich gucke einen Film an.
Ich gucke mir einen Film an.

• when you use "angucken" or "sich angucken"

Er guckt (sich) das Fahrzeug an.

• But if you want to say for example I see the bird, you can't say: ich gucke den Vogel, you have to say: ich sehe den Vogel.

Hope it's clear now :)
