So, Krishna gives us the choice. At the end of the Bhagavad-Gita. He says, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja: “Surrender to Me. Give up all varieties of religiousness, all extraneous duties, and just surrender to Me.” And if you don’t want to surrender to Krishna, or Lord Nrsimhadeva, voluntarily, then Krishna will come as death (mrtyuh sarva-haras caham) and take everything away.

@Bhagavad-Gita Chapter 10 Verse 10

When a person knows the goal of life but is addicted to the fruits of activities, he is acting in karma-yoga. When he knows that the goal is Krishna but he takes pleasure in mental speculations to understand Krishna he is acting in jñãna-yoga. And when he knows the goal and seeks Krishna completely in devotional service, he is acting in Bhakti-yoga or Buddhi-yoga, complete Yoga. This complete yoga is the highest stage of perfection in life.
