Since his inauguration on Monday, President Donald Trump has signed a slew of executive orders including one that pardons people who took part in the Jan. 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riot.

Of the 1,500 people pardoned, the U.S. Justice Department charged 25 people from South Central Pa.

Riley Williams, of Mechanicsburg, was arrested after allegedly stealing Nancy Pelosi's laptop and then later speaking about releasing information to Russia. At the time of the riot, Pelosi was the speaker of the House of Representatives.

Meanwhile, Joseph Fischer of Myerstown was accused of entering the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6 and faced a laundry list of charges, including civil disorder.
