Can Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Locate A Pipe Leak? - PART 2

In this video I discuss the possibility of using ground penetrating radar (GPR) to detect a leak in a water or sewer pipe. The approach I outline here makes use of GPR's ability to view the subsurface in 3D and reflect off of water saturation boundaries.

Here in PART 2, I show how to use time-slices (or 3D visualization) to not only identify the leak location, but the direction of the leak plume. This is also an important technique for identifying contamination plumes when a fuel tank leaks.
