On July 18, 1955, U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Soviet Premier Nikolai Bulganin, British Prime Minister Anthony Eden and French Premier Edgar Faure met for a summit in Geneva.

Geneva was the scene of the Big Four "Summit" Conference and the leaders of the Russian, French, American and British delegations arrived at the Palace of Nations for the all important meeting.
