IRISH GIRL MAKES A LONG ISLAND ICE TEA FOR THE FIRST TIME | Boozy Cocktails at home Ciara O Doherty

In todays episode of Cocktails with Ciara, I'm making the legendary Long Island Ice tea for the first time! I was a little apprehensive about making this boozy cocktail for the first time, but I think it turned out pretty well!

✨ Ingredients ✨
22ml Gin (I used Bombay Sapphire)
22ml Vanilla vodka (I used Absolut)
22ml White Rum (I used Appleton)
22ml Tequila
22ml Cointreau
15ml Simple syrup
Lime Juice to taste (I used about 15ml)
Cola to float on top
Garnish: lime wheel

✨ Method ✨
Add all ingredients (bar the cola) to a shaker.
Shake with ice.
Strain into a collins glass and top with cola
garnish with a lime wheel

The Long Island Ice Tea was created by Robert "Rosebud" as a cocktail entry in a contest to create a new mixed drink with triple sec in 1972 while he worked at the Oak Beach Inn on Long Island, New York.
