The first video of our new series of DH Student interviews will tell you why our students chose to study Digital Humanities at EPFL and what was the most useful knowledge they had when they started.

Their motivations are numerous but here are just a few: “A combination of computer science and something more human centric”, “Using technology to reconstruct ancient culture”, “Bringing two worlds together”, “It’s not only the computation, but also the interaction between people”.

And what knowledge was the most important to have? Well, it seems programming skills comes out first!
