Disney movies taught us a lot. They taught us about love, doing the right thing and how to be a good person. One word that would probably be used to describe Disney princess movies would be wholesome. But when you look a little deeper, you’ll see that they are actually quite dark. Think about it. Who are your favorite Disney princesses? Cinderella? Pocahontas? Tiana? None of them have a mother. If it was just one princess who was motherless, maybe we would think it was a coincidence. But almost all of them lack a mother figure in their lives!
