Sharad Navaratri Day #5: Goddess Skandamata, Lord Karthikeya & Moksha

The fifth day/night (Shukla Panchami Tithi) is the day of Goddess Skandamata who is worshipped on the fifth day of Navratri (the nine divine nights of celebration of Navadurga).

Maa Skandamata is the fifth manifestation of Goddess Durga and is known for providing peace, tranquillity, courage and compassion. She is also called as the true Goddess of "Endurance and Moksha".
