In Islamic theology, "Arsh" (عرش) refers to the Throne of Allah. It is mentioned in several verses in the Quran, and its nature and significance are described in various hadiths (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him).

The concept of "Arsh" is symbolic of Allah's sovereignty, authority, and majesty. It is not to be understood in a literal or anthropomorphic sense, as Allah is beyond human comprehension, and the attributes of Allah are distinct from those of creation.

Here are a few Quranic verses that mention the Throne (Arsh):

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:255): "Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."

Surah Al-A'raf (7:54): "Indeed, your guardian is Allah and the Messenger and those who have believed - those who establish prayer and give zakah, and they bow [in worship]."

Surah Ta-Ha (20:5-6): "The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil."

The concept of "Arsh" is a way to express the unimaginable greatness and authority of Allah. It is a symbol of His absolute sovereignty over the entire creation. Muslims believe in the oneness of Allah and that He is beyond any human or worldly comparison. The nature of the Throne is not to be anthropomorphized, as Allah is transcendent and incomparable to His creation. The verses and hadiths that mention the Throne are meant to inspire awe, humility, and reverence for the Creator among believers.
