My name is Kate, and my background is in social psychology. I also have been in executive roles for more than 15 years, but then I had my child, and decided to start something else… this blog.

Nobody is teaching us to be a parent as if this is something that comes naturally. And it probably should. But why are so many of us struggling with being a parent: feeling that we are not good enough and repeating the same dysfunctional patterns we have been raised in?

In this blog, I want to discover why we face so many challenges in parenting and what can be done about it.

I invite top researchers and practitioners in psychology, mental health, child development, birth, breastfeeding, couple relationships, and neuroscience to share their knowledge.
I also focus on attachment theory practices, family-centered, and generally more humanistic approaches in parenting rather than behavioral ones.

I also share my ideas on conscious parenting, what worked well and what did not, and invite other parents to share their stories.
