[A] Rainy's Got You (cuddling & crying encouragement)

[A] Suitable for listeners of any gender. Contains roleplay elements where I speak to you directly and ask a few simple questions, but no major response is needed from you. No specific relationship is implied (there's a fatherly roleplay version if you prefer), though terms of affection are used (darling, sweetie) and I tell you that I love you. Contains some "shhh" and gentle shushing sounds, an encouragement to cry and let out your emotions, some encouragement to fall asleep at the end and a kiss goodnight when you do.

This audio is kind of the combination of two fairly popular audios: 'Just Let It Out' and the Cuddling series of audios. In this audio, I notice you seeming upset and ask if you need a cuddle. I wrap my arms around you and hold you, gently comforting you and reassuring you. There are assurances that I'm here and not going anywhere, promises to protect you and keep you safe, gentle murmuring and a soft but steady, calming tone of voice. I encourage you to cry and let out any emotion you may have been holding in, making some gentle "shh shh" noises and comforting you. There's some praise for you being brave and allowing yourself to be vulnerable. I model some relaxed breathing and encourage you to breathe along with me, taking slightly longer and slower breaths through your nose and out through your mouth.

You'll hopefully feel a little more settled by this point, and so I cuddle you and praise you, listing off some positive qualities and things I like about you, such as how you're kind and gentle and you always try your best. I tell you that I love you, and then I softly sing Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love". After that, I encourage you to close your eyes and rest, while I make long, slow "shhh" noises to soothe you and help you regulate your breathing, a bit like white noise. After a while, I gently say goodnight and give you a little kiss goodnight.
