Food, like a loving touch or a glimpse of divine power has that ability to comfort. We all have our comfort memories connected to food.
Chef Amninder Sandhu is the pride of India and an inspiration to women round the globe. She stands strong in a male dominated arena, and aims at preserving the traditional Indian cuisine.
Through her talk, she aims to take us on a cooking time travel.
Born to a North Indian, Sikh family and raised amidst the lush greenery of North East India, Amninder Sandhu, Chef at Arth has a love that is akin to devotion for food! Her love for food encompasses all she does and has gone on to win her the Best Lady Chef Award in 2016 from the Ministry of Tourism. In 2019 she led Arth to win Restaurant Of The Year at World On A Plate judged by none other than the legend Chef Marco Pierre White. Chef Amninder honed her culinary skills at IHM Aurangabad and at PME Knightsbridge School Of Cake Decoration, UK. She went on to work with the renowned Taj Group of Hotels before upping her skin in the game and foraying into standalone restaurants.
