These #markets that were closed for weeks due to novel #coronavirus outbreak in #Pakistan, are now allowed to open for business.

Pakistan government has relaxed the restriction imposed in the #lockdown, allowing businesses to run under the Standard Operating Procedures (#SOPs) that require all to maintain #socialdistancing and precautions to stop the spread of coronavirus.

But as businesses opened, locals flooded the markets, flouting all required SOPs and brushing aside #government’s call of #safety measures.

Markets are now seen filled with customers with no compliance of government provided #operating procedures.

#Shop owners say opening of #businesses is a good step by the government as it caters to the livelihood of million of families, insisting that precaution is important.
