back in 2019 a monstercat artist called grant released a track called wishes. apart from being a really pretty future bass track (a very in-vogue genre at the time), grant had been playing it at every live set for nearly two years before releasing it; so much hype was built up around it that it was like a festivity when it finally came out.

the final version of Wishes that would eventually release in 2019 was changed; some lyrics were altered, and the vocalist was swapped out from baum to mccall.

this edit is a collage of about three live sets grant did between 2017-18 where he played the early track in full. i lost the file at some point in 2020, but have recently become reacquainted with my ex-girlfriend and she happened to still have the mp3. enjoy this blast from the past!
