And just like that we have come to the end of another season...

And just like we started it, we wrap up our adventure with a gathering of overlanding and camping lovers, exploring in and around Stutterheim in the Eastern Cape.

I have said this many times throughout the season, that it's not just about the places but also about the people, and there is something to be said for friendships that are forged around fire. What a wonderful send off in two wildly different camp locations - The Shire and Gubu Dam.

We also time traveled back in time with a visit to the amazing Old Thomas River Historical Town, situated just off the N6 between Cathcart and Stutterheim - if you have visited, you really should!

It has been a very special season and I want to thank you all for watching, for the support but especially for the amazing messages we've received - it really does mean so much.
But it was also a very difficult season for me to edit with the sudden illness of my precious Jamie and having to say goodbye to him midway through the season...thank you for your patience while I took some time out and for the beautiful messages of support. So tough sitting down to edit and there he still is, full of life... what a special boy!

So now we start planning for Season 4...but until then, get on the road, get out there and explore your backyard...it doesn't matter where you go, just go...to see how far it is!
