Join us as we reveal the winners of the 15th BFI Future Film Festival Awards 2022.

The BFI Future Film Festival Awards Ceremony, supported by Netflix, was hosted by Rhianna Dhillon, Film and TV critic.

Winners were announced across 10 award categories, including Best Film, Best Director and Best New Talent, which were selected by our festival partners and sponsors and festival jury, chaired by Mark Herbert Producer and joint CEO of Sheffield-based Warp Films; Aml Ameen, Filmmaker and actor: Boxing Day, Yardie; Nicola Coughlan, Actor: Derry Girls, Bridgerton; Kyla Harris, Documentary filmmaker: It’s Personal; Runyararo Mapfumo, Director: Sex Education

We were also delighted to welcome back last year's winners to help present the awards, and were joined by the 2021 Best New Talent winner Emmanuel Li, who discussed his new film 'Spokes and Robbers' and how the past 12 months have been for him.
