हाथरस में हुई भगदड़ के बाद पहली बार सूरजपाल उर्फ भोले बाबा का बयान सामने आया है. एक वीडियो बयान में हाथरस भगदड़ की घटना पर सूरजपाल उर्फ ‘भोले बाबा’ ने कहा कि ‘हम 2 जुलाई की घटना के बाद बहुत ही व्यथित हैं…प्रभु हमें इस दुख की घड़ी से उभरने की शक्ति दे. सभी शासन और प्रशासन पर भरोसा बनाए रखें. हमें विश्वास है कि जो भी उपद्रवकारी हैं, उनको बख्शा नहीं जाएगा. मैंने अपने वकील ए.पी. सिंह के माध्यम से समिति के सदस्यों से अनुरोध किया है कि वे शोक संतप्त परिवारों और घायलों के साथ खड़े रहें और जीवन भर उनकी मदद करें…’

हाथरस हादसे के मुख्य आरोपी देव प्रकाश मधुकर को यूपी एसटीएफ ने दिल्ली के नजफगढ़ के एक अस्पताल से शुक्रवार को देर रात गिरफ्तार कर लिया. मधुकर पर एक लाख का इनाम था.

The main accused in the Hathras incident, Dev Prakash Madhukar, was arrested by the UP STF from a hospital in Najafgarh, Delhi late on Friday night. There was a reward of Rs 1 lakh on Madhukar.
