Скачать или смотреть High performance finite element computation with Z-set of an aircraft engine combustion chamber

A high fidelity thermomechanical simulation of a combustion chamber model is performed using the Z-set finite element software and the AMPFETI solver. An anisothermal elastoviscoplastic highly nonlinear material, identified at Onera, is involved and a complete set of 1200 micro-perforations is represented. Such a simulation uses 576 MPI tasks and 3456 cpu cores, each resolution of the tangent system with 25 millions of unknowns lasts approximately one minute. This video shows the plasticity multiplier isovalue at the end of a realistic load cycle.
