Pepper Garden and Shade Cloth Update - June 18, 2024

The plans for the shade cloth were always shaky at best. Not knowing how anything would actually work together, if at all, was a huge guess. Today, it’s up, will it stay? Who knows? Tomorrow the 19th of June I’m expecting rain, a lot of it from what the weather folks say, from a tropical system blowing in from the Gulf of Mexico.

I have 2 experiments on how to connect the bottom end to the rickety pvc pipe frame. It’s all tied down and anchored as well as can be under the circumstances so maybe it will be ok. My 2 tests are allowing the pvc to flex and hopefully not break.

Wanna see something strange? Build a pvc frame and let the sun really cook it, it gets wiggly like rubber but unless you really push it, it bends and doesn’t break.
