Judge Lance Ito raised concerns about the book and its potential impact on jurors, and lawyers on both sides were watching Faye’s media appearances closely.
The defense team worked to discredit Faye, even floating theories that drug dealers targeted Nicole while looking for her cocaine‑addicted friend.
