The McLaren GT is the Most Boring V8 Supercar (That's a Good Thing)

The GT is about as boring as McLaren gets, and that's a good thing. Let's stay away from SUVs for awhile, please?? 🙏 After a morning with the car, it feels maybe 15% more user-friendly than the 720s which is already an incredibly daily-drivable supercar. It has a de-tuned version of the 4.0L out of that car which is plenty enough for my spine to constantly check-in, wondering when to brace for the next shove of torque. 612 HP, 465 lb-ft. The McLaren GT is for people who don't care about a V6 or hybrid daily and while we wait for the 750s, this is a great place to pause for a moment.
