In this tutorial I have shared the steps to make Oracle VirtualBox VM Full Screen and Enable the option to choose from different Virtual Screen Resolution Size.
By default when you create a VM with any OS, then you may have noticed that you will be unable to switch to full screen mode of the VM console. Even if you click on Maximize icon, it will still stick to a certain screen size but it never goes to Full Screen.

To fix this you must install Guest Additions software which is available from VirtualBox.

This enables many options inside a VM such as
Mouse pointer integration
Shared folders
Time synchronization
Better Video and Display
Shared clipboard
Automated Logins

Once you the software ISO image is added to the VM, you can check the mount path using lsblk command and then mount the ISO to a temporary filesystem to be able to access the content of the ISO.

You will need to install some pre-requisite packages based on your OS variant. I have given these in the tutorial, you can check and install those.
It is possible the software may ask for more packages depending upon the currently installed software and the Guest Addition software version.

During the process of Guest Additions software installation, you will observe that the screen size will automatically switch to full screen.
