CTA Buses in the Loop +

Описание к видео CTA Buses in the Loop +

It's been a while since there was a video focusing on CTA's buses uploaded to this channel. That's mostly because not much has been happening other than the older 1000 series D40LFs being scattered across the system, with buses from 103rd being transferred to North Park, Chicago, and Kedzie Garages. Also, some of Forest Glen's 8200s went to Kedzie as CTA continues to take delivery of our new 8350-series 2022 NovaBus LFS buses. As you will see in this video, it's not very hard anymore to find a new bus. The bus system is pretty diverse now with different series of Novas and New Flyers.

However, what kills the fun for all transit enthusiasts are CTA's new destination signs for the buses, which are now aligned to the left. CTA claims this is an accessibility improvement so that when buses are back to back, passengers can see the destination sign sooner as the bus in front of the bus they may be trying to board pulls away.

Enjoy this 20 minute video of PM rush hour bus service along State Street in Chicago's Loop and one of the first 8350-series buses operating out of Kedzie Garage on the 124 Navy Pier route.
