Fixing broken YSL quads & questioning the idea of "luxury" (+ repair tutorial)

Is luxury worth it? Is it just a flex? Or is there something more? And even if there is something more: what justifies the high price tags?

I have always enjoyed the experience of luxury makeup, but based on my experience with the components, I don't think I could ever justify spending on items like luxury handbags. If they fall apart like these compacts do, they simply would not be worth it!

You can just use a hair dryer to heat the adhesive to ease removal, but if you plan on doing a lot of re-potting, there are also specific heating pads made for that work like this one:

I always have 70% alcohol around to sanitize things – I also used it to clean my materials in this video.

Super glue or Gorilla Glue is probably better, but even just the glue stick that I had hanging around my house helped add adhesive strength to the magnets.
