How to make a 12V To 5V 5Amps | Voltage Regulator

Hi friends in this video i will make a simple voltage regulator using Transistor 2sc5200 .
Features OF 2SC5200
High-power NPN Transistor
DC Current Gain (hFE) 55 to 160
Continuous Collector current (IC) is 15A
Collector-Emitter voltage (VCE) is 230 V
Collector-Base voltage (VCB) is 230V
Emitter Base Voltage (VBE) is 5V
Transition Frequency is 30MHz
Available in To-264 Package

Due to High Collector current this transistor is very good for Liner regulators . And i made this regulator for high power 5v supply. this can give 5Amps of current at output. its better then LM7805 or LM7812 regulator which can give only 1A maximum!
