6 Rice Recipes - Lunch or Dinner ( for 2+ toddlers & kids ) - Indian Toddler & Kids rice recipes

RECIPE #1 - Easy Veg Pulao

Ingredients: ( for #1 - Easy Veg pulao )
1 - onion ( thinly sliced )
1 cup - basmati rice ( or jeera or kalijeera rice )
2 cups - water
1 tbsp - oil or ghee
2 cardamom, 2 cloves, 1 " cinnamon stick
1 tsp - ginger garlic paste
1/2 cup - peas
1/2 cup - carrot ( finely chopped )
1/2 cup - beans ( finely chopped )
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1/4 tsp - chilli powder
1/4 tsp - pepper powder
1 tsp - coriander powder
1 tbsp - corainder leaves ( chopped )
salt to taste

RECIPE #2 - Egg Fried Rice

Ingredients: ( for #2 - Egg fried rice )
3 - eggs
1/2 cup - spring onion (chopped)
1/2 cup - bell pepper (chopped)
1/2 cup - beans (chopped)
1 tbsp - oil ( I used peanut oil )
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
1/4 tsp - chilli powder
1/2 tsp - coriander powder
1/2 tsp - fennel powder
1/4 tsp - pepper powder
salt to taste

For the rice:
1 tbsp - oil
1 cup - rice
2 cups - water
salt to taste

RECIPE #3 - Mushroom Fried rice

Ingredients: ( for #3 - Mushroom Fried rice )
1 cup - Mushroom ( sliced or chopped )
1/2 cup - peas
1 tbsp - coriander leaves chopped
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1/2 tsp - chilli powder
2 tsp - coriander powder

For the rice:
1 tbsp - oil
2 cardamoms, 2 cloves, 1" cinnamon
1 cup - rice
2 cups - water
salt to taste

RECIPE #4 - Chicken fried rice

Ingredients: ( for chicken fried rice )
500gms - chicken boneless ( cut into small pieces )
2 tbsp - oil
1 cup - peas
1 onion (chopped)
1 tbsp - coriander leaves (chopped)

For spice paste:
1 tbsp water
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
1 tsp - chilli powder
2 tbsp - coriander powder
1 tbsp - fennel powder
salt to taste

For the rice:
1 tbsp - oil
2 cardamoms, 2 cloves, 1" cinnamon
1 cup - Basmati rice ( or jeera rice )
2 cups - water
pepper - pinch
salt to taste

RECIPE #5 - Prawn Pulao recipe

Ingredients: ( for #5 - Prawn or shrimp pulao )
1 tbsp - oil
1 - onion ( chopped)
2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp - coriander leaves (chopped)
500 gms - prawns (or shrimp)
1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
1/2 tsp - chilli powder
2 tsp - coriander powder
1 tbsp - fennel powder
1/4 tsp - pepper powder
salt to taste

For the rice:
1 tbsp - oil
1 cup - Basmati rice ( or jeera rice )
2 cups - water
salt to taste

RECIPE #6 - Quick Paneer Pulao

Ingredients: ( for #6 - Quick Paneer pulao )
1 - onion ( chopped )
200 gms - paneer ( cut into small pieces )
1 cup - basmati rice ( or jeera or kalijeera rice )
2 cups - water
1 tbsp - ghee
1 tsp - ginger garlic paste
1 cup - peas
1- carrot ( finely chopped )
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1/4 tsp - chilli powder
1/2 tsp - cumin powder
2 tsp - coriander powder
1 tbsp - corainder leaves ( chopped )
salt to taste
