Cacao Recipes 💫
You asked for recipes and so here is my all time favorite. 😋
You’ll need:
🍃 150 - 200 ml of plant milk
🍃 1 tsp ground cinnamon
🍃 Pinch of cayenne (or more if you like it 🔥)
🍃 3 dates (or 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey)
🍃 Ceremonial Grade Cacao (source the best hand-cultivated and fairly-traded cacao) 10-20g for daily meditation dose, 30-40g for a ceremonial dose.
🥣 Add milk, dates, and spices and heat to a gentle simmer. Turn heat to low and leave for a few minutes while you finely chop the cacao.
🥣 Add cacao and use a molinillo (traditional wooden whisk) or wooden spoon to blend together.
🥣 Sing or speak your words of devotion to the Spirit of Cacao as the exlir turns dark and velvety. Pour into your fave cup, bless, give thanks, and enjoy.
