This song made its way to me through an acquaintance who suggested I learn it. Eventually when I listened to it for the first time, I wept. I proceeded to listen to it repeatedly, weeping on every subsequent occasion for quite some time. I appreciate how the specific situations in songs can be vastly different from the life experiences of the listener, but still serve as an access point to the same or similar emotions.
